Fonds Soutien aux entreprises – Maximum subsidy of 20 000 $*

Fonds Soutien aux entreprises is a financial tool provided to help businesses with their start-up, expansion or consolidation projects. The assistance provided comes in the form of a non-refundable contribution of up to 50% of the project costs to a maximum of $20,000. The financial assistance may on occasion go as high as 80% of the project costs to a maximum of $20,000.*

Eligible businesses*

This fund is for businesses with strong growth potential, established within the city of Gatineau or that will establish there, and that have a project in one of the following areas : new product development and marketing; new market development; productivity improvement; or consolidation.

Examples of admissible expenses

Professional fees required by a consultant for a feasibility study, market study, sectoral study, prospecting study, opportunity analysis, etc.;
Professional fees required by a consultant for the implementation of a strategic plan;
Professional fees required by a consultant for developing diagnostics, recovery plans or coaching;
Professional fees required by a consultant for improvements in the operational efficiency of a business;
Costs generated by participation in trade fairs; and
Acquisition of technology (know-how, manufacturing licence or agreement, patent), software or software packages.
